Good Design Award

An internationally recognisable 2016 GOOD DESIGN® award – with a 68 year heritage and an international jury that includes architects, designers and creative directors, GOOD DESIGN® has maintained its importance and relevance with criteria focusing on aesthetics, functionality, ecological compatibility and symbolic and emotional contents.

Specifically, the Smeg appliances that earned the company this prestigious award were the 45cm wine cooler, the sommelier drawer, the 60cm oven, the blade flame gas cooktop with artistic grids and the 90cm combi cooktop, all from the new Dolce Stil Novo range, presented for the first time at the 2016 Salone del Mobile. These ground-breaking products were commended for their refined aesthetic and extraordinary technological innovation in the field of home appliances.

iF Design Award

The hallmark of outstanding quality and excellence – with 5,500 entries from 59 countries, Dolce Stil Novo received a coveted iF DESIGN AWARD 2017.  Known for bridging the gap between design and industry, an iF DESIGN AWARD denotes quality, trust and excellence, and has been administered by one of the oldest and truly independent design institutions in the world for 65 years. Smeg is thrilled to announce that the new 45cm Dolce Stil Novo wine coolers has received an iF Design Award 2017.
